Overview
Ain and Zain Medical Village; An integrated medical, scientific, academic and educational complex that provides the latest medical and health services and scientific research with high quality, in accordance with approved global and national standards. It includes on its campus, the ancient Ain and Zain Hospital, the Medical Center for the Elderly, the Home Care Center, the Nursing Institute, and the sixth branch of the Faculty of Health – Lebanese University. It is distinguished by its endeavor to achieve a unique integration in the medical, health, care and academic services to serve its intended destination in all respects, and to attract the best expertise to provide integrated health services, without any discrimination or racial, religious, sectarian, or gender discrimination.
Brief History
The pioneering academic medical complex, named Ain Wazzin Medical Village, started with the Druze Health Foundation, which laid the foundation stone in 1978 for Ain Wazzin Hospital. The medical edifice, which was born with a generous initiative and a pioneering vision from the Sheikh Akl of the Druze community, the late Sheikh Muhammad Abu Shakra, as a not-for-profit institution, was born in 1981 to become a reference hospital center classified among the first five hospitals in Lebanon according to the approval of the Ministry of Public Health for the year 2002. ISO 9001 certified.
Ain Wazzin Medical Village is located in the Chouf area in Mount Lebanon, 40 km from the capital Beirut and 45 km from the city of Sidon, and it provides the best health and social services in various fields at the lowest possible cost to patients and visitors from all Lebanese regions.

Al-Jabal Hospital in Qornayel
The name of Al Jabal Hospital in Qornayel is associated with Ain and Zain Medical Village; The integrated academic medical complex, especially the hospital there. Al-Jabal Hospital – Qornayel was established in 1983 by the Kamal Jumblatt Social Foundation and with the support of all the people of the region. It is a not-for-profit hospital, which has the status of public benefit. In 2012, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Kamal Jumblatt Social Foundation in Matn and the Board of Trustees of the Druze Health Foundation to manage the Jabal Hospital by Ain and Zain Hospital, according to the proposed strategic plan for the coming years. The Board of Trustees of the Druze Health Institution plays an essential role in the accurate and transparent accompaniment of the hospital’s work. It works to secure the necessary financial resources to accelerate the implementation of the strategic plan, develop human cadres, and develop medical and technical support services, medical activity and human resources. “Al-Jabal Hospital” aims to provide the best medical and supportive medical services at the lowest cost, and to meet the needs of its patients and visitors in Al-Matn and the surrounding areas, which include 45 villages. And secure experienced nursing cadres.
